The first cowboy hats were made from 100% beaver fur felt, natural and undyed - and these hats lasted a lifetime. For an all weather hat nothing beats a traditional western hat made from pure beaver fur.

Beaver Fur Felt is dense & virtually waterproof. It consists of 100% beaver fur felted to produce a material that lasts 5-10 times longer than wool felt. It is the most premium material available for your custom hat base.

Beaver fur felts are sourced from France and Eastern Europe and come in limited colours. Please communicate in advance if you are wanting a specific colour and we will do our best to source this for you. 

We will then design a handmade band from a range of velvets, ribbons, animal skins, leathers and feathers.

In my workshop I have antiques, baubles, attachments and collectibles to add to your eclectic piece to better represent your unique personality. 

I will then help you create something that is balanced and extraordinary all at once. 

Each hat comes with a custom made Bluegrass leather sweatband and silk-satin liner.
